For everything from high school training to professional competitions, Seminole County’s superb sports facilities are among the best in the state. Just a few of these are the Merrill Park Softball Complex, a USA Softball National Training Center and home to the U.S. Olympic Gold Women’s Team; Sanlando Park, which sees action like the U.S. Tennis Association and NCAA Championships; and the Lake Brantley Aquatic Center, a training facility for Olympic-caliber athletes; and Seminole County sports Training Center which was the home of the 1996 United States Women’s Gold Medal Olympic Soccer Team.

Seminole County Sports Facilities
Seminole County Training Center
The Training Center offers state-of-the-art equipment for complete physical conditioning. The facility includes 15,000 square feet of conference and training space and six international dimension soccer fields. Previous home of the 1996 United States Women's Gold Medal Olympic Soccer Team. This world-class venue is a prime destination for all types of events including soccer, lacrosse, flag football, and rugby.
Historic Sanford Memorial Stadium
This historic stadium, originally built in 1926, was once the playground for famous baseball players like Babe Ruth and Jackie Robinson, as well as the entire New York Giants. In 2001, the 2,000 seat stadium received a complete renovation. Historic Sanford Memorial Stadium has hosted Women's Professional Baseball, Collegiate Baseball Teams and ASA Men's Softball events. The stadium is now proud to be the home of yet another professional baseball team, the Seminole County Naturals.
Seminole County Softball Complex
This five-field complex, with a three-story communications tower as the centerpiece, has been the host to a variety of ASA, NSA, ISA and USSSA National Softball and youth baseball tournaments and Championships. It is the perfect setting for any softball or youth baseball competition.
Lake Brantley Aquatic Center
This aquatic center offers an Olympic size 50-meter pool with moveable bulkhead for short course competitions. The site served as a 1996 Olympic training facility and the 1998 USA Water Polo National Junior Olympic Championships, and the home of the 2009 Water Polo division of the Sunshine State Games.
Sanlando Park
This nationally recognized tennis facility offers 25 hard courts for the avid tennis player. This facility has served as host for numerous United States Tennis Association Championships, as well as host site for the 2004, 2007, 2009-2011 NCAA Division II Men's & Women's Tennis National Championships.
Seminole Soccer Complex
This massive venue boasts 11 full size soccer pads, capable of hosting a variety of different sporting events. The soccer complex, conveniently located next door to the Seminole County Sports Training Center, has played host to several state wide and national soccer tournaments, as well as the USA Rugby Club Championships and Collegiate Playoffs.
