  • Lake County Mission Inn

  • National Training Center

    National Training Center

    The National Training Center is a 300-acre sports, health, fitness and education campus which is unique not only throughout the state of Florida, but also throughout the world. The NTC unites world-class sports and athletic facilities with a hospital, medical office buildings, community college and four-year University. A full array of physicians, medical specialists, nurses, athletic trainers, physical therapists, exercise physiologists, exercise specialists, personal trainers, coaches, and instructors create a winning team for the individuals who work-out and train here.

  • Hickory Point Recreation

    Hickory Point Recreational Facility

    Created as a unique, recreational waterfront park, Hickory Point premiered in February 1992. With 12 paved boat ramps, including two that can accommodate deep-draft vessels, and ample parking for vehicle and boat trailers, the park offers the basic amenities for all sort of anglers. However, Hickory Point is no average recreational park.

    The park also features a swimming beach, boardwalks, outdoor picnic areas with barbecue grills, open-field play areas, nature trail, playground, horseshoe pits and a sand volleyball court.

    The highlight of Hickory Point is its two-story, screened picnic pavilion with first-floor picnic tables and barbecue grills. The second floor features two screened banquet rooms. The pavilion can accommodate small groups or large gatherings of up to 275 people.

  • Lake Louisa State Park

    Lake Louisa State Park

    A short drive from Orlando, this park is noted for its six beautiful lakes, rolling hills, and scenic landscapes. Lake Louisa is the largest in a chain of 13 lakes connected by the Palatlakaha River, which is designated as an Outstanding Florida Waterway. Lake Louisa, Dixie Lake, and Hammond Lake, the park's most accessible lakes, provide access for fishing, canoeing, and kayaking. Anglers can fish in four of the park's six lakes, but gasoline-powered boats are not allowed; only boats powered by trolling motors or without motors are permitted. Camping facilities and more than 15 miles of horse trails are available for equestrians. For hikers and backpackers, the park has over 20 miles of hiking trails with excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing. Dixie Lake has a fishing pier, canoe/kayak launch, and a picnic pavilion. The park also has a full-facility campground, fully furnished cabins for rent, and primitive campsites.

    Located within the prestigious Heathrow Country Estates community, RedTail includes a distinctive 18-hole, 7152 yard, par 72 links-style golf course, intimate clubhouse, clay tennis courts, Fitness Center and Relaxation Pool. The dining room accented with rural character, intimate men's and ladies' card rooms, and a sweeping vista terrace known as 'the Verandah,' complete with a cozy outdoor fireplace, RedTail provides a warm yet elegant atmosphere for its Members and Guests alike. 

  • North Lake Community Park

    North Lake Community Park

    North Lake Community Park is the largest recreational complex managed by the Parks & Trails Division. The park opened in May 2009 and features many amenities, including an expansive playground area, four picnic pavilions, two restroom facilities, two basketball courts, six tennis courts, four sand volleyball courts, two baseball fields, two softball fields, two soccer fields, three multi-use fields, concession stands, 1.4-mile perimeter trail loop and .75-mile nature trail.
